THE BRAND
The silver-cheeked toadfish is an invasive pufferfish is devastating the Eastern Mediterranean ecosystem. Their population has exploded threatening native biodiversity, fishers and human health.
Turkey & Cyprus have introduced bounties to help reduce pufferfish populations, but this only offers short term relief.

We turn this burden into a benefit by commercializing them, offering another solution for their control.

DR. AYLIN ULMAN
Meet Aylin, the dynamic Project Director with a huge passion for the seas! Aylin's journey spans the world and its depths. From her days as a globe-trotting PADI scuba instructor where she certified over 1000 divers, to her time as a killer whale whisperer, and marine educator, she has breathed marine conservation since she was a teenager.

She received her MSc in Fisheries Science in Canada followed by a joint doctorate from Sorbonne and Pavia Universities studying alien species in the Mediterranean. She has been working with invasive pufferfish since she relocated to Turkey in 2018.

MUHAMMET UZUN
Introducing Professor Dr. Muhammet Uzun, helping to fuel our eco-friendly leather development! With a Ph.D. in Technical Textiles from the University of Bolton, he's gained tons of knowledge of emerging sustainability trends across Europe.
With over 100 scientific publications and a track record of more than 60 international conference presentations, Prof. Uzun is a prime example of academic excellence. But he's not content with just filling up journals – he's on a mission to revolutionize the sustainability of the leather game.
